Mental Health Week and introductory breathwork sessions
Mental Health Week is currently underway in Australia, with World Mental Health Day taking place on 10 October.
For many men in midlife, mental health doesn't usually collapse in a single moment. It’s often quieter than that. A gradual accumulation of responsibility, daily pressure, and holding things together until the load starts to feel heavy.
You don't need to be in crisis for this to matter. Often, what’s needed isn't advice or a problem to solve, but simply enough space for the system to settle.
Recognising something in words is often very different from experiencing it directly in the body. Because of that, I'm opening a small number of introductory 1:1 breathwork sessions at a reduced rate through October.
This isn't an ongoing program or a push toward a specific outcome. It’s simply an opportunity to experience how breath-led work lands for you, and to give your nervous system time to stand down.
As part of my work, 5% of Second Wind income is donated to organisations supporting men’s mental health and meaningful connection. I encourage you to explore the work of:
- Without Fear – helping people move past the fear that prevents them from seeking mental health support.
- The Men's Table – creating safe, consistent spaces for men to build connection and talk openly.
If midlife is asking for a pause rather than another push, you're welcome to reach out.
